location, handy to Court Theatre, CBS and Tower junction allowing us to walk. nice balcony to sit out on,
lack of some sky channels-wanted to watch the tennis in Melbourne, staff did not wash our dishes although bed was made and fresh towels put in.

Spent New Year's at this motel and it was great! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The shower had amazing water pressure, and the location was convenient to bars and cafes. Plus, the room had its own small garden area which was a nice touch.
The cigarette smell in the office was overwhelming and not a pleasant first impression. The toilet bowl could have been cleaner, and the toilet seat was almost falling off.

Clean rooms we had 2 which were both very clean and free WiFi which seems unusual in NZ. Was central and within walking distance if the center. Be warned there is still severe damage to the city Center from the earthquake and large areas are cordoned off however the city is still well worth a visit. This was the nicest SC Motel we stayed in both clean and fairly modern with good appliances and comfortble beds.
